A afirmação nacional da Ucrânia como sinal de um pan-eslavismo não russo

Resumo

Esta pesquisa examina brevemente a trajetória do pan-eslavismo desde sua gênese literária até transformar-se em ideologia política.  O objetivo geral é demonstrar ser inadequado lhe entender como fundamento teórico às aspirações de uma hegemonia moscovita acima dos demais eslavos. Para tanto, além de percorrer as diferenças do movimento em relação à política externa russa, a maior parte do texto debruça-se na afirmação nacional da Ucrânia. O método utilizado foi o histórico-sociológico, partindo-se de fontes primárias. Predominantemente obras literárias, revisão bibliográfica e textos internacionais. O resultado consistiu na revelação da inaplicabilidade do pan-eslavismo como movimento exclusivamente pro-russo, sendo o caso ucraniano uma amostra de seu caráter multinacional e multicultural.
