<b>GOVERNANÇA GLOBAL E DEMOCRACIA: UMA REVISÃO CRÍTICA</b>br/>GLOBAL GOVERNANCE AND DEMOCRACY: A CRITICAL REVIEW

O presente trabalho busca fazer uma revisão crítica acerca da discussão sobre governança global e democracia. Por meio de uma abordagem qualitativa, busca-se delimitar teoricamente o debate para, então, apresentar desafios atuais para a democratização da governança global. Inicialmente, é apresentada uma discussão preliminar contextualizando a emergência do conceito de governança global no início da década de 1990. Em seguida, discute-se a democratização da governança global, fundamentando-se nas discussões de autores consagrados como Dahl, Keohane, Macedo e Moravcsik. Finalmente, a problematização de como tornar a governança global mais legítima abre caminho para a identificação dos principais desafios para se pensar em democratização das instâncias decisórias internacionais.Referências
